Okay, so first of all software was created to help people solve a problem. Right?
Spreadsheets were replaced by Excel and other spreadsheet software.
Typewriters were replaced by Word and other word processing software.
Hand drawn graphics were replaced by Photoshop and other graphics software.
And those are just COMMON examples.
Look at the iPhone and iPad market. These little devices have “apps” that are replacing everyday tasks and automating them.
I was talking to a friend the other day and he said his wife is using a “breast feeding schedule” app which times how long you breast feed and the intervals in between.
Then he mentioned they have an app where you can use your iPhone as a baby monitor.
I was pretty damn shocked to hear you can use your iPhone as a baby monitor.
What’s next?!
So what is it about software and apps that makes people NEED them?
It’s quite simple.
It SOLVES a problem and AUTOMATES tasks.
Us as humans are always looking for ways to make your lives easier through simplifying our everyday tasks.
When I first started marketing online about 8 years ago, I realized I was doing almost everything manually.
From tracking my data in spreadsheets to using databases to spit out reports to building landing pages in dreamweaver! Along with soooo many other things that were just repetitive tasks.
So what did I do? I started creating systems that help automate these repetitive tasks so I can free up my time to concentrate on making money and growing my business!
Later on I went on to sell this system which is now commonly referred to as “The Magic Bullet System”.
A good friend of mine, Trey Smith (who is releasing “The Software System” in a couple days), did something very similar with software, but with a twist…
About 3 or 4 years ago, during his first year online, he created television software which allowed you to watch TV on your computer which he sold on ClickBank.
Pretty simple concept right?
Well guess what?
Would you believe he made over 1 million dollars his FIRST YEAR with this software?!
He then later created another piece of software in the hypnosis market which led him to make over 1 million dollars AGAIN.

WRONG.
